This piece was commissioned to celebrate International week, resulting in a beautiful original piece of artwork created by the children and displayed in the dining hall.

This internal wall mounted piece was made by year 4 children in a day. All 60 children had the opportunity to work with Sarah, placing the tiles on the mural under her guidance.

The children enjoyed a presentation on the history of mosaics as an introduction to the medium and the project was rounded off by a mosaic quiz on what they had learnt. It measures approximately 1metre.
