Exploring different materials opens possibilities and gives the opportunity to find individual preferences, ranging from texture, form, colour and pattern. The ceramic pieces used have been hand made by the group, creating unique textures and very personal elements. The broken china incorporated was collected by the group from the river estuary nearby. Such work also  gave opportunities for exhibition experience and resulted in saleable pieces, which was a new and interesting experience for many of the participants.
